Observation site

I am happy to come to your event or seminar location in the surroundings of the Tyrol. However, please note that in some environments the use of telescopes and laser pointers is only possible to a limited extent.

On request, I will be happy to suggest suitable locations close to your venue.

My observation sites for classic Stargazing Tours in the Tyrolean mountains are the Alpengasthof Lüsens near Innsbruck and the Labalm near Aschau , close to Kitzbühel, both of which offer excellent regional Tyrolean cuisine.

Depending on the desired scope, duration, location and number of participants, I will provide you with an individual offer for your exclusive Stargazing Tour.

Note: as a small business company according to § 6 Abs. 1 Z 27 UStG of Austrian tax law, all prices of sternenguide.tirol are VAT exempt.

What happens if it's cloudy?

If heavy clouds or rainy weather are forecast, the Stargazing Tour will not take place.

If your event is not bound to a specific date, you can arrange to have the tour on the following day or at a later date.

Ideally, the decision on whether to actually carry out the Stargazing Tour is not made until the afternoon of the day itself. At this point in time, the weather forecast is most reliable. However, if you wish, an individual notification time in advance can be arranged according to your needs.

In the event of cancellation or termination before or during the tour due to bad weather, there are three options:

1. Cancellation in case of bad weather by sternenguide.tirol before the tour:
   If the weather forecast indicates that satisfactory stargazing is not to be expected, sternenguide.tirol will cancel the Stargazing Tour. As the organizer, you will not incur any costs and will be reimbursed 100% of the agreed price.
   
   
2. Bad weather during the tour:
   Even the best weather forecast is sometimes wrong and there is no hundred percent guarantee of clear skies in the Tyrolean Alps.
   
   If a Stargazing Tour takes place and, contrary to expectations, the weather conditions deteriorate during the event to such an extent that the event cannot be carried out as planned, you as the organizer are only required to pay the travel costs and actual expenses of sternenguide.tirol plus an expense allowance of 25% of the agreed fee.
   
   
3. Cancellation or termination by the organizer:
   If you cancel the Stargazing Tour before the event or terminate it before the agreed duration has expired during the event, below cancellation conditions come into force. In this context, please note the terms and conditions of sternenguide.tirol.

Cancellation conditions Corporate Tours & Events

If you cancel the event within a certain period of time before the event, the following cancellation conditions apply:

• Up to 1 month before the event: no cancellation fee
• Up to 2 weeks before the event: cancellation fee of 25% of the tour price
• Up to 76 hours before the event: cancellation fee of 50% of the tour price
• Within 76 hours before the event: cancellation fee of 100% of the tour price
