Private Stargazing Tour
Your experience
Before a private tour of the stars, we will discuss your wishes in detail . This is the usual procedure for a private tour:
In the first part of the tour, you will learn how to find your way around the starry sky with the help of a laser pointer and listen to beautiful star stories from all over the world. There will be plenty of time to bombard me with any questions you may have about the starry sky.
In the second part, you will delve deeper into space with a professional telescope and astronomical binoculars and practice observing planets, star clusters, nebulae and galaxies yourself in your private group. This part is open-end: as long as there is interest and nobody gets too cold, we will stay observing!
Location
The Private Stargazing Tours take place at partner huts in the Tyrolean Alps: the Labalm near Aschau b. Kitzbühel and the Alpengasthof Lüsens in the Sellraintal near Innsbruck.
Both are located in dark valleys away from built-up areas, offer an excellent panoramic view and are each directly accessible by car (toll road to the Labalm: €5.00).
Both mountain inns offer excellent regional cuisine and, if desired, a hearty dinner before the Stargazing Tour is possible (not included in the price).
Procedure and prices
Date, meeting point and time:
will be arranged when you book the tour. Since only a limited number of appointments are available per season, I kindly ask you to send me a request before booking.
Duration of the Private Stargazing Tour:
depending on the interests of the participants, approx. 2.5 - 4 hours
Number of participants:
maximum of 15 people
Group price:
flat rate of €590.00 for up to eight people
each additional person: €25.00, from ten people onwards a second telescope is provided
(excluding dinner, travel costs for participants and tolls)
Special price for couples or up to two people:
flat rate of €390.00 including two deckchairs, blankets, two glasses of sparkling wine and a hot drink
(excluding dinner, travel costs for participants and tolls)
